Abstract

The essential oil of Ageratum conyzoides L. was analyzed by capillary gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The main constituents were ageratochromene (precocene II), 6-demethoxyageratochromene (precocene I) and β-caryophyllene, accounting for 77% of the oil.
