Abstract

This TD describes the possible factors that can introduce the discrepancy between the measurement and the 3D EM simulation of millimeter-wave antenna. The effects of the choice of the simulation solver, the relative permittivity and the homogeneity of the substrate material, the manufacture tolerance, and the measurement errors are discussed.
