Abstract
This paper presents the basic concepts and implementation of a Vibrating Intrinsic Reverberation Chamber (VIRC). This kind of chambers is used in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements, and offer some advantages compared to traditional chambers. An introduction, theoretical principles, a description of the VIRC built at the CAERCEM and some measurements obtained during the characterization process are included.
