An analytical method based on the Euler-Lagrange formalism is applied to predict the motion induced by strong deformation of a bubble in the vicinity of a plane solid wall. The added mass tensor coefficients are computed and those that are mainly responsible for the induced motion to or from the wall are especially studied. The main agencies involved are determined and explained.
