Abstract

In this issue of Chem, Che and coworkers show the sequential assembly of phosphorescent, multiblock supramolecular aggregates in one or more dimensions by a living supramolecular polymerization approach. Doping small amounts of Pt^II into Pd^II assemblies significantly improves emission properties, demonstrating a new strategy for preparing luminescent metal-organic supramolecular materials.
