Abstract
ARCHITECTURE AND MATHEMATICS: A CONTRADICTION?
Since the start of the academic year of 2006 a design studio "Generative Design". has been held in the 3rd year of the bachelor in which students learn to write an basic script that researches a design problem they have formulated at the start. The course ends with a parametic research of alternatives and one or more generated models (either 2d laser cut, 3d printed of animated).
