Abstract

Increasing share of distributed renewable energy sources (DRES) in distribution networks raises new operational and power quality challenges for network operators such as handling overvoltage. Such technical constraint limits further penetration of DRES in low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) networks. This paper addresses a new solution based on Muti-Agent System (MAS) for mitigating overvoltage in distribution grid.
