Abstract

This paper presents a magneto-acoustic energy harvester that can harvest energy from external low-frequency noise in the presence of a static magnetic field. The paper first introduces the concept of the harvester. Next, the influence of the acoustics and copper strips are analyzed on resonant frequency and vibration. Finally, the paper investigates the induced voltage and generated power. The result shows that the harvester with 25 mm diameter is able to generate 6 mV at 511.2 Hz.
