An integrated stepwise tunable optical mm-wave beam former with doubled delay resolution

Abstract

An integrated stepwise tunable optical mm-wave beam former with doubled delay resolution is proposed and ∼1-ps delay imbalance is implemented. This technique also supports single-wavelength-tuned multi-beam steering. Moreover, two bidirectional hybrid couplers are investigated.
