Abstract

The Amanda model system uses steering behavior and multi-agent technology in an attempt to simulate pedestrian dynamic destination and route choice, and scheduling behavior. In this paper, we present the agent architecture of the model system, the environment under consideration and the mechanisms underlying the movement patterns.
