Adaptive observer-based synchronization

Abstract

111An approach to the unidirectional synchronization based on the concept of adaptive observer is presented. A brief exposition of adaptive observer design for nonlinear systems by means of filtered transformations is given. For the important special case of synchronizing Lur'e systems, a simple adaptive observer structure is described and synchronization conditions including the persistency of excitation condition are formulated. The proposed design is illustrated by example of information transmission by a pair of adaptively synchronized Chua circuits.
