Accelerating complex for basic researches in the nuclear physics

In 2003 in NSC KIPT was begun the work on development the project of accelerator, base facility IHEPNP NSC KIPT electron recirculator SALO. The accelerator will be disposed in target hall of accelerator LU 2000 complex. It is projected first of all as facility for basic researches in the field of nuclear physics and for applied researches. Complex SALO includes: an electron injector on the basis of superconducting RF gun; a source of polarized electrons with the superconducting accelerating module; system of the beam injection in recirculator; accelerating system on the basis of superconducting accelerating sections TESLA; two rings of the beam recirculation. The maximum energy of accelerated electrons is 730 MeV at a current less than 100 mkA. The coceptual design sketch of the electromagnetic equipment of an accelerating complex is developed. Variants of beam transportation on physical installations are developed.
