A Switchable Polarization Converter on an Indium Phosphide Membrane

Abstract

We present a switchable polarization converter on an indium phosphide membrane, using an simple fabrication process. A polarization extinction ratio above 19 dB and insertion loss below 0.5 dB are demonstrated in simulation.
