Abstract

In this paper, a novel class of super-elliptical antipodal Vivaldi antennas (SAVAs) is presented with improved bandwidth as well as peak realized gain and front-to-back ratio characteristics. The proposed antenna is parametrized on basis of the superellipse equation.
