Abstract
An amino-functionalized bipyridine ligand was prepd. to serve as a bridging unit to an activated low-mol.-wt. monomethyl ether of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). Coordination of a ruthenium(II) phenanthroline precursor onto the formed PEG-contg. bipyridine ligand yielded a metal-contg. polymer which shows interesting properties for solar cell applications
