Abstract

In this paper, we describe how we translated contextual inquiry into design opportunities from which a framework regarding storytelling and eight design concepts were emerged, and adopted Pugh' matrix and user consultation to evaluate these concepts. To be specific, based on the findings of contextual inquiries with older adults and caregivers, a framework of story sharing of the elderly was constructed. Eight design opportunities were then proposed. The concept selection included two rounds: Pugh's matrix, evaluating the concepts against the baseline. User consultation, getting feedback from elderly users.
