Abstract

This paper presents the practices from our research to design a context-aware persuasive system that promotes the adoption of a healthier lifestyle by providing personalized advice on physical activities at the appropriate location and at the most opportune time. We describe the concept design of our system and the development a simulator that generate advice based on various inputs such as personal profile, agenda, weather, location, etc. The results of the simulation proved the feasibility of our decision table filtering algorithm we deployed in our simulator.
