Abstract

This chapter presents the design and measurement results of a 60GHz 4-bit passive phase shifter in a 65nm CMOS technology. The phase shifter consists of a differential transmission line loaded with a differential MOS varactor at each side. It achieves a phase-shift step size of 22.5° (4-bit) and a phase control range of 360° at 60GHz.
