Project Details
Description
This project focuses on two key building blocks for modern combustion technology developed at TU/e. 1) We foresee to make further progress in the heat flux method, developed at TU/e and currently used by more than 30 groups in the world and known as one of the most accurate and reliable available method to measure burning velocities of flames. 2) Further progress in the Flamelet Generated Manifold method is also foreseen. This method has developed into the industrial standard among the modeling techniques of combustion processes and is used by more than 30 groups worldwide including key industrial partners.
