Description
Smart design of chemical storage safety systems. A collaboration between CSE Center of Safety Excellence (Germany) and TU/e, Faculty of Chemical Engineering. Storage tanks must be protected with advanced valves that must be able to reduce overpressure sufficiently quickly, even if the stored substance starts to evaporate when the pressure is reduced and also if there is a risk of fire and explosion.
