Cofinancing of M2I project with Bosch Transmission

Project: Research direct

Project Details

Description

Thermal management, materials specification and engineering systems design optimization of electric and hybrid powertrains (with continuously variable transmissions or CVTs) is the main focus area. This relates to how to use (or create) waste heat in the most effective way to improve real-life energy efficiency and system performance and increase temperature robustness. Optimization of the thermal management of the power train will deliver essential input for changes in control and system re-design.
