Description
Farmers of goat and poultry are facing grand changes, affecting every aspect of their business. Code-Refarm takes a holistic research approach. It aims at understanding the links between husbandry systems and the intrinsic quality of derived products. Researchers will exploit novel technologies to assess products along the value chain (Product Lifecycle Monitoring), from farm to fork.
The research insights, combined with insights on societal demands and sustainability of production processes will drive new strategic planning and create new marketing concepts for the industry and growth of traditional ones.
