Layman's description
Safety is the biggest challenge of autonomous driving. The AutoDrive partners developed advanced fail-aware, fail-safe, and fail-operational electronic components, systems, and architectures for highly and fully automated driving, providing the implementation of safety in nine demonstrators in different cities and countries across Europe. The AutoDrive project brought together an innovative pan-European ecosystem consisting of 61 partners representing leading semiconductor companies, vehicle manufacturers, electronic system integrators, renowned research institutes, and small-medium size enterprises (SMEs). To develop advanced electronic components and systems for autonomous vehicles to provide fail-operational functions using novel architectures with increased reliability to manage and balance complexity, cost, robustness, and flexibility. The overall overview and most significant achievements of the AutoDrive are collected and presented in an easy, fun, and charming video, giving a clear picture of the top project results that were done within three years—making it entertaining, attractive, and informative
