With the Gravitation program, the Dutch Government aims
to encourage research by consortia of top researchers in the
Netherlands. Researchers must be carrying out innovative and
influential research in their field. The Netherlands organization
for Scientific Research is realizing the selection procedure for
this program with respect to direct government funding at the
request of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
