First runner-up TU/e Sustainability in Education Award 2024

The TU/e Sustainability in Education Award recognizes the efforts of teachers and teaching groups who invest in educational development and direct their teaching toward addressing grand societal challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and biodiversity loss.

The jury, comprised of students and experts, awarded my colleagues and me the first runner-up prize (second place), and praised our ability to put the grand societal challenges we face at the centre of our education and commended our teamwork and transdisciplinary approach.
