Academic background

Wei Feng received both the Bachelor degree (2013) and Master degree (2016) at University of Science and Technology of China, majoring in polymer chemistry. 

In July 2016, Wei Feng joined the group of Prof. D. Broer as a PhD candidate to develop electroactive liquid crystalline polymers and integrate the responsive materials into functional devices for practical applications. Examples include dry-cleaning with electricity, switchable friction and adhesion of the LC polymer coating surfaces. Wei Feng will defend his PhD thesis on June 11th, 2020.
