Personal profile
Research profile
Viral Gosar is a doctoral candidate in the Dynamics and Control group of the Mechanical Engineering Department under Prof. dr. Henk Nijmijer, dr. ir. Igo Besselink and dr. ir. Mohsen Alirezaei. His current research field is vehicle dynamics and control of commercial vehicles (tractor semi-trailer) with a focus on implementing automated driving at distribution centers.
Academic background
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Symbiosis Institute of Technology, India, Viral pursued his dual master's in automotive engineering and system at Czech Technical University and HAN respectively. For his master’s thesis, Viral developed a high-fidelity electric bus model for Urban Mobility System BV, under the supervision of Prof. dr. Joop Pauwelussen.
