Sonja Rohmer is currently working as an Assistant Professor within the Operations, Planning, Accounting and Control Group (OPAC) at Eindhoven University of Technology. Focusing on real-world applications of Operations Research approaches, her research interests are in the modelling and analysis of more sustainable supply chains, transportation systems as well as innovative logistics concepts. In particular, she intends to address today's challenges by investigating different planning aspects related to the future provision of food and the logistical challenges in an urbanising world. This includes the study of last mile logistics and metropolitan solutions for food and perishables as well as the potential of new technology and innovative supply chain concepts within the context of food and agriculture.
