Many polymer processing techiques have been developed over the years. By improving and applying these techniques in a creative way, we can reach new exciting applications.
Simon Houben is a doctoral candidate in the Stimuli-responsive Functional Materials & Devices (SFD) group under Prof Albert Schenning and Dr Bastiaansen. Simon works on polyethylene processing and functional composited based on this material.
After Simon Houben did his bachelor education in Organic Chemistry at the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, he did a pre-master for the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Master at the Technical University of Eindhoven. Subsequently he started the Master's programme with a specialisation in the Molecular Systems and Materials Chemistry track.
