Shrikant Paliakara

Shrikant Paliakara is a Doctoral Candidate in the Power and Flow group of the Mechanical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology. His research focuses on experimentally understanding the fundamental behaviour of iron powder as a clean energy carrier, supervised by assistant professors Xiaocheng Mi and Giulia Finotello.

His work analyzes the influence of the material properties of micron-sized iron powder/particles on the combustion and reduction steps of the cycle as part of the PMP-to-MeCRe project. This work contributes to advancing iron powder as a carbon-free circular energy carrier.
