Research profile

Drs. ir. Saskia L.M. van Loon holds both a M.Sc. degree in Medicine (Leiden University, 2008) and Biomedical Engineering (Eindhoven University of Technology, 2015). Currently, she pursues a Ph.D. at the department of Biomedical Engineering in the group of Chemical Biology (prof.dr. Volkher Scharnhorst) in collaboration with the Information Systems group of the School of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences (prof.dr.ir. Uzay Kaymak). Her research is part of the IMPULSE 2 program and is performed at the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
