In 2015 I received my BSc. degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology after a final bachelors project in the group of prof. dr. Bert Meijer. During this project I focused on functionalizing water-soluble benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamides with TEMPO spin labels. I rejoined the group of prof. dr. Bert Meijer in 2016 for my graduation project. During this project I studied the influence of the hydrophobic chain length on the morphology, dynamics and co-assembly of benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamides in water using a variety of techniques, including hydrogen/deuterium exchange mass spectrometry. During my Master program, I also performed an internship at the Radboud University under the supervision of dr. ir. Peter Korevaar, where I worked on creating a life-like chemotaxis system of surfactant self-assemblies. After obtaining my MSc. degree cum laude, I started as a PhD student in the group of prof. dr. Bert Meijer. The aim of my project is to gain a better understanding of one-dimensional supramolecular polymers for biomedical applications.
