Academic background

Ronald Janssen studied Electrical Engineering at the TU/e where he received his MSc in 2024. In 2024 he started as PhD candidate under supervision of Georgi Radulov and Eugenio Cantatore. 

Research profile

Ronald Janssen is a PhD student with the Integrated Circuits group at the TU/e department of electrical engineering. He is working on the DOLORES project which aims to create a digital optical computing platform for neural networks. He is focusing on an efficient, high-speed, mid-resolution, analog-to-digital converter on the interface between the optical chip and the electronic chip. Beside his research, Ronald is also involved as TA for the following courses: 5SFC0, 5SFD0, and 5XCD0.
