Currently, Rolf is captivated by the deceptively simple question of how one should evaluate the service quality of public transport.

Rolf obtained his PhD with the distinction cum laude from at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. At the same university, he also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Operations Research and a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Management Science, with a specialization in Operations Research and Quantitative Logistics. Rolf’s work has been published in journals such as Transportation Science and Transportation Research Part B.
