Research profile
Dr. Ahmadreza Marandi is a tenured assistant professor at Eindhoven University of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. from Tilburg University in December 2017. His research addresses the challenges in optimization problems, particularly nonlinearity and uncertainty. Ahmadreza utilizes data-driven robust optimization to handle uncertainties and focuses on developing efficient algorithms for robust solutions, especially in high-tech systems and supply chains.
Quote
John von Neumann once said, 'If people do not believe that mathematics is simple, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is.'
By leveraging mathematical tools, we can solve intricate real-life problems. My focus is on using Mathematical Optimization to model and tackle complex decision-making scenarios.
