''You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You are on your own. And you know what you know.
And you are the one who'll decide where to go..." Dr. Suess, Oh the Place You'll Go
This PhD project is one of four PhD assignments that, together, form the Impulse II research program in collaboration with ASML. Rachel's research is focused on designing an optical metrology system to measure surface disturbances in 6 degrees of freedom. A solution within photonic integration is sought to reduce the size, the expense and the thermal dissipation that is often found in dense arrays of sensors.
