Academic background
Prakasham obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai in 2019. His PhD research involved organometallic (homogeneous) catalysis using transition metal N-heterocyclic carbene complexes. Then he moved to Tel Aviv University, Israel for his postdoctoral research, where he worked on metal ligand cooperative catalysis using pincer palladium phosphine complexes.
