Research profile

Piet Schreurs is lecturer (UHD) in micromechanics. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 1983 with prof. J.D. Janssen as his supervisor. In 1984 he joined the department of Computational and Experimental Mechanics. His activities include lecturing in continuum mechanics and fracture mechanics. His current research is focussed on the micromechanical modelling of discrete media and on smart materials.
