Ntorina Antoni is a Ph.D. Candidate in strategic management at the ITEM group. Furthermore, she is an Attorney-at-Law and member of the Athens Bar Association in Greece. From October 2016 to September 2017, she worked at the Strategy Department of the European Space Agency (ESA). As a strategy and policy analyst, she got involved in the research and analysis of ESA member states' regulations, policies, and strategies. From May 2014 to October 2016, she was the legal counsel of Swiss Space Systems, a company that planned to provide orbital launches of small satellites and manned sub-orbital spaceflights. She was in charge of aviation and aerospace projects' legal and regulatory aspects, including aircraft purchase, certification of parabolic flights and suborbital flights, and small satellites.
Ntorina holds a Law degree from the University of Athens in Greece, a Master's in Law in International and European law from Tilburg University, and an Advanced Master's in Law in Air and Space Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her current research interests concern strategic decision-making under uncertainty, in addition to space law and space policy. Focusing on the aerospace and security&defense industries, she aims to contribute to the strategy literature with relevant and useful research for practice.
