Nick Verkade, MSc. (1985) graduated in 2014 at Wageningen University’s Environmental Policy Group on the topic of informational governance of smart meters in the Netherlands. He has a background in Business Economics (BSc) and Human Geography (BSc) attained at University of Amsterdam. Currently, he pursues a Ph.D. at the School of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences in the Technology, Innovation and Society group. Nick’s research is focused on smart grids, especially on the role and strategies of energy sector actors in the development of domestic energy practices. This research is being conducted together with WUR, and partners Enexis and MilieuCentraal.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
