Academic background
Min Wan obtained her Master's degree in Optical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2017. Her master's thesis focused on the design and implementation of terahertz digital holographic systems and holographic image reconstruction. She started her PhD at University College Dublin (UCD), exploring optical imaging tehchniques in the terahertz regime, earning her PhD in 2021. Following her PhD, she continued her research at UCD from 2021-2022, and in 2022, she was appointed as an assistant professor at UCD. In February 2024, she joined the department of Electrical Engineering at TU/e as an assistant professor.
