Research profile

Milad Mazaheri is a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Diagnostics Lab at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on the development of algorithms to monitor uterine activity during labor and the postpartum period using electrohysterography (EHG) signals. His work contributes to improving maternal healthcare by enabling more accurate, non-invasive monitoring of uterine function.

Academic background

Milad Mazaheri obtained his bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware Engineering in 2017. He pursued his master’s studies in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the University of Padova, within the Department of Information Engineering. For his master’s thesis, he collaborated with the Biomedical Diagnostics Lab, where he applied machine learning algorithms to predict outcomes of full-cycle in-vitro fertilization treatments. He graduated in 2024 and began his PhD at the Biomedical Diagnostics Lab at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where his research focuses on monitoring uterine electrical activity during labor and the postpartum period.
