As a PhD student in Control Systems Technology at TU/e, my research focuses on enhancing the performance of low-cost actuators through advanced motion control techniques. A significant aspect of my work involves developing innovative commutation strategies for Switched Reluctance Motors, primarily used in directing lasers for optical satellite communication. Additionally, I am involved in the research of automatic calibration methods for cost-effective position sensors, aiming to boost their accuracy and reliability. This work reflects my commitment to bridging the gap between cost-efficiency and high performance in control engineering.
