Maryam SteadieSeifi has received her B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Alzahra University in 2004 and her M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2010. She also worked part-time for the Iranian Institute of Innovation and Technological Studies (IIITS) between 2002 and 2011, coordinated and participated in some of their projects. Maryam joined OPAC as a PhD student in April 2011. Her main research interests are in the area of applied operations research, system modeling, analysis and optimization in logistics, resource management, and supply chain management. Now, she is working on efficient transportation policies and planning models for horticultural supply chains (dealing with uncertainty and deterioration) as her project, under the supervision of Dr. Tom van Woensel, Dr. Nico Dellaert and Prof. Ton de Kok.
