Maryam Azani is a doctoral candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Operations Planning, Accounting & Control (OPAC) group IE&IS department. Her Project is about human decision-making using sophisticated systems; specifically, how do superior information and systematic bias impact joint performance. Maryam's PhD project is part of the AI Planner of the Future project (AIPoF), which is supported by the European Supply Chain Forum (ESCF). 

Academic background

Maryam Azani completed her Master's degree at the University of Twente in 2020. Her Master's thesis titled Supply Chain Control Towers received funding from TKI Dinalog, the Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics. Maryam excelled in her Bachelor's degree at the University of Tehran, where she was recognized as the top graduate. For her Bachelor's final project, she assessed gender inequality using network analysis, specifically focusing on the evaluation of gender gaps in formal and informal relationship networks.
