Marleen van Stevendaal (1994) received her MSc in Molecular Life Science at the Radboud University in Nijmegen in 2018. During her masters she worked on targeted drug delivery of elastin-like polypeptide nanoparticles in 3D cell culture models at the Department for Membrane Biochemistry of Prof Roland Brock (Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Science (RIMLS)) and on the implementation of one-dimensional nano-liquid chromatography for mass spectrometric detection of Host Cell Proteins in a monoclonal antibody, at the Department for Analytical Development and Quality Control (Synthon Biopharmaceuticals). Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the Bio-organic Chemistry Department of Prof. Jan van Hest, working on communication of protocells with biological cells.  

 

Academic background

Marleen obtained both her bachelor (Molecular life sciences, 2016) and masters (clinical biology, 2018) degree from the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Marleen joined the van Hest lab as a PhD student in 2018.
