Research profile

Marcella is currently a post-doctoral researcher of the Control System group at the TU-Eindhoven. She is involved in the INSPEC (Integrating Sensor Based Process Monitoring and Advanced Process Control) project.

In March 2015 Marcella attained the Ph.D degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Cagliari (Italy) with thesis titled Quality regulation and energy saving through control and monitoring techniques for industrial multicomponent distillation columns. Her advisers were Prof. R. Baratti (University of Cagliari) and Prof. J. Alvarez (University UAM-I of Mexico City).

Her research interests include: advanced process control, model-based nonlinear estimation, process modelling, and integration  of process design and control..

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
