Mana Farrokhseresht received her BSc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran (2010) and received her double degree MSc. in Energy Engineering by EIT-KIC Program from KU Leuven, Belgium and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden (2014). Since 2015, she is working as a PhD candidate in Electrical Energy Systems (EES) group, TU-Eindhoven, Netherlands. Her research is associated with Smart Energy Systems in the Built Environment (SES-BE) program. The main focus of her research is on market frameworks and provision of ancillary services that enable increased penetration of renewable energy sources in the distribution grid.
