'The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.' - Carl Sagan
BSc. in Physics at the University of Delhi, India.
Masters in Physics with a specialisation in condensed matter physics at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Here, he carried out research in the group of Prof. Titus Neupert - he studied the theory of many-body effects in quantum mechanics, along with the use of computational methods (including DMRG, quantum Monte Carlo techniques and neural networks) to investigate many-body systems in greater detail.
Madhav is interested in the use of theoretical and computational tools towards developing the next generation of quantum technologies.
In particular, he is involved in the development of hardware-efficient, high fidelity entanglement protocols and algorithms on the Rydberg atom based quantum computer being developed at Eindhoven.
He is also investigating the potential applications of quantum computing towards quantum chemistry.
