Biography

Luyi Xu is a doctoral researcher in the unit Building Physics and Services at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on estimating demand of district energy system for different scenarios. The aim is developing a virtual district energy system, through computational simulation, to analyze performance of different design options as well as operation strategy. Luyi got both master and bachelor degree in HVAC Engineering from Tianjin University, China. And she worked for a building environmental consulting company in China for nearly 2 years before starting her PhD career in TUE.
